The Society for International Development (SID), Munich Chapter, is a non-profit organization that works at the interface between society, business, science and development policy practice. 

SID Munich is part of the worldwide SID network. SID offers a platform for international dialog and cooperation and sees itself as a driving force on issues of international development. Since its foundation in 1957, SID has been committed to equal, participatory, peaceful and sustainable human development worldwide and is an active participant in the discussion of global issues of the future.
